1. Bods... What is Bods?

Bods™ is a 2 player game where you use your body to create shapes. Your device's camera captures your attempt, and it is scored by an AI judge who delivers feedback. Play with a partner, a group, or a whole room full of people. It’s so stupid it isn’t.

2. Who we are

Bods™ is made by sosogoode ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. You can reach us at ross@playbods.com.

3. Using the game

Bods™ is for everyone, including kids — some packs (Wee Bods) are made for them. But the person who sets up the game and holds the account must be 18 or over, and an adult should be the one running the device. Children play with an adult present, and that adult is responsible for them.

Some cards can be physically demanding. Don't attempt anything you're not comfortable doing. Know your limits, and look after the people you're playing with.

Play safe. Bods™ is a physical game — you'll be twisting, stretching, balancing, and sometimes lifting each other. Clear enough space, watch out for furniture and slippery floors, and never force a shape or push through pain. Don't lift, carry, or balance anyone who isn't happy to be lifted, and take extra care with children, older players, and anyone with an injury, pregnancy, or health condition. If in doubt, sit it out — a missed point is better than a pulled muscle. You take part at your own risk, and you are responsible for the safety of everyone you invite to play.

You're responsible for your device and for making sure everyone being filmed — adults and children alike — is happy to be filmed. Don't point the camera at people who haven't agreed to play.

Bods™ is a clothes-on type of game. Swimwear, fancy dress, onesies — all fine; just no birthday suits. If an image can't be safely scored, it may get no result and isn't used to generate a score.

4. Camera & video

The game needs access to your device's camera to work. Here's what happens with that footage:

5. AI judging

Scoring is powered by OpenAI's vision technology. Here's how it works:

6. Purchases & credits

Most packs cost real money. You'll need to create an account to make purchases, so your packs are saved across devices. Here's how it works:

7. Your content

Any photos or videos you save from the game are yours. If you share them on social media, send them to friends, or project them onto the side of a building — that's your business. We don't claim any rights over content you create while playing. And the fact that it has a Bods™ logo on it is purely coincidental.

We'd love to see your best ones — tag @playbodsgame on Instagram if you fancy showing off. Posting and tagging is always your choice: when you do, you're sharing your own content publicly, and you're confirming everyone in it is happy to be seen. We never take a photo or video from the game ourselves — the only way anything reaches us is if you post it.

Any prize draws or competitions we run (such as Bods™ of the Week) are open to 18s and over only. All competition entries must be posted from an account belonging to an adult aged 18 or over.

8. Don't be awful

Bods finds if you are nice to people, they are usually nice back. Bods had this realisation reading The Path. Bods™ was 34 at the time. When using Bods™, please don't:

9. Our stuff

The Bods™ name, logo, card art, game design, and all related materials belong to sosogoode ltd. You can't copy, redistribute, or use them commercially without our permission. But you can absolutely screenshot your scores and brag about them — we encourage it.

10. The game may change

Bods™ is provided "as is." We're always improving the game, which means features may change, new packs will appear regularly, and occasionally things might break. Bods™ is not a developer, this much is clear, but we'll do our best to keep everything running smoothly, and we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. If we make significant changes, we'll try to give you a heads-up.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, sosogoode ltd isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Bods™. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

If you pull a muscle trying to recreate a particularly ambitious shape, that's on you. Stretch first. If you lift someone up during a hard pack, make sure to put them down again gently — it's only polite.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Bods™ after changes means you accept the updated terms.
