Sicilian Bods hands two of you sixteen shapes off the island and asks you to become them before the ten seconds run out. The Trinacria wants three legs and a head shared between two people, which is exactly the argument you're imagining; Be An Arancino asks for a rice ball with a point on top and no wobble; careful prickly pear is the only shape in Bods that arrives with a warning attached. There's a moka pot going on the stove, a Moor's Head, a swordfish, and brioche for breakfast, which in Sicily is a real breakfast and nobody is joking about it. It's the pack for anyone who came back from Palermo or Catania still talking about the food, and for anyone who hasn't been. Auntie Zeffie marks it like she summered there in 1798 and thought the granita was better then. No props, no lemons required — two people and a phone propped where it can see you both. Sixteen shapes, eight dealt a round.

How it works

  1. The card flips.
  2. You've got 10 seconds for the two of you to work out who's what and make the shape together.
  3. Bods! The camera catches it, Auntie Zeffie scores it and judges you.
  4. Share the result, or don't.
