Zombie Bods is the apocalypse played for two, and it's very specifically a British one: Been Down Tesco is a zombie pushing an overflowing shopping trolley, They Can't Climb Trees Can They? needs one of you stuck up a tree while the other reaches, and Is That My Toe In Your Drink? is just a big rounded severed toe, no further context offered. Some cards want one of you as the shambling threat and the other as the person who really should have run faster; others hand you a weapon shape and ask you to commit to the crossbow you apparently just happen to have. It plays like the opening five minutes of every zombie film, minus the budget. No props, no fake blood, just two bodies and a phone that catches the whole thing. Auntie Zeffie has outlived plagues that make this one look tame, so she's not easily rattled. Sixteen shapes, eight dealt a round, best played with someone who'd actually leave you behind.

How it works

  1. The card flips.
  2. You've got 10 seconds for the two of you to work out who's what and make the shape together.
  3. Bods! The camera catches it, Auntie Zeffie scores it and judges you.
  4. Share the result, or don't.
