Sixteen shapes, two dancers, considerably less grace than the real thing.

Sixteen shapes for two people who've watched The Nutcracker at Christmas and quietly fancied their chances. Ballet Bods takes the whole performance and turns it into a shape-off between two of you: Pas De Deux demands an actual lift without anybody getting dropped, Oh No Tangled Ribbons is exactly the backstage panic it sounds like, and Sugarplum Fairy needs someone to commit fully to the wings. It plays like a school recital where Auntie Zeffie is the only parent not clapping automatically, dry as a chalked rosin box. It suits anyone who did three terms of ballet as a child and never let go of it, siblings settling an old rivalry, or two people who fancy themselves as Swan Lake with none of the actual training. Nothing here needs a barre, a tutu or any actual flexibility — just the nerve to attempt A Pointe on camera. Best played by two people who'll take Curtain Call far more seriously than the attempt deserved.

How it works

  1. The card flips.
  2. You've got 10 seconds for the two of you to work out who's what and make the shape together.
  3. Bods! The camera catches it, Auntie Zeffie scores it and judges you.
  4. Share the result, or don't.
